Having extinguishers in place does not guarantee the safety of your staff if a fire should strike.

Extinguishers need to be supported by additional fire extinguishing and detection equipment to ensure that your staff have enough time to get out of the building to safety.

Dry riser fire mains

As well as the installation and maintenance of fire extinguishers at your commercial premises in accordance with fire safety legislation, we also maintain and test dry riser fire mains.

Dry risers are a means for the fire service to fight a fire within a high rise building . We test our dry risers in accordance with BSI 9990 : 2006 and rectify any faults we discover on a test and quotation basis.

The fire services connect their hoses from the fire tender into the building to whichever floor or floors the fire fighters need water. Each floor has a landing valve, which allows a controlled flow of water to extinguish the fire

We comply to BS5306 Part 3 2009 for extinguishers and BS9990: 2006 for dry riser testing and rectify any faults that we discover.
